In 9 volumes, with over 6500 pages and around 5000 total notes,
this is the first complete translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari, comprising
all of its 7563 Hadiths. The book has a detailed commentary on
Hadiths, with an introduction to the Hadith studies in each volume,
along with notes challenging the negative projections of the Hadith
by the Orientalists. The work has also Quranic and other
references. The translation's language is very inclusive, presenting
the life and teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) as the
source of the human enlightenment and refinement, rooted in
mercy and justice. With extensive notes and studies on the nature
and importance of the Sunna, the translation has been done under a
close expert supervision. The present translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari in Italian has been undertaken as part of Tawasul’s Muslim
Classics Project that involves the Italian translation of Sahih Muslim
and other Islamic classics.
